The 2nd Annual Contrology Classic a success

We are proud to share the success of the 2nd Annual Contrology Classic, a charity golf tournament dedicated to supporting patients and families impacted by advanced heart failure and heart transplantation.

Building on the incredible momentum of our inaugural year—which raised $90,000—the 2024 Contrology Classic brought together community, compassion, and commitment once again. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Michelle Fisette and Tommy Hardiman, and the generosity of sponsors including Rampco Construction, Drock Trucking, Professional Ambulance, Ocean State Behavioral, Field Staffing Solutions, Tasca Ford, and many more, this year’s tournament raised over $65,000 for HeartBrothers programs.

In just two years, the Contrology Classic has generated an amazing $155,000 to provide hope, resources, and critical support to individuals and families navigating the challenges of heart failure.

Together, we are making a lasting impact—thank you to everyone who played a part in this year’s success!

ABOUT THE CONTROLOGY CLASSIC

The inspiration behind the Contrology Golf Classic stems from our desire to support a nonprofit organization benefiting conditions our patients face. Our passion for golf intersects with the mission of Contrology Physical Therapy, which is based on improving body awareness, control, and alignment. Through this event, we aim to blend our love for golf with our commitment to enhancing physical function and performance in our patients, golfers and non-golfers alike.

Golf is a sport that demands precise control of body movements, balance, and coordination—principles that resonate deeply with Contrology Physical Therapy's approach. By leveraging our understanding of movement mechanics, we can help prevent injuries and rehabilitate those that occur, ensuring that both our patients and participating golfers receive the best care and support possible.

The Contrology Golf Classic is more than just a day of sport; it’s an opportunity to raise awareness about heart failure and heart transplant challenges, both physical and financial. The event aims to fund research into better treatments and outcomes, support patient programs, and enhance community support networks. By participating in this event, you are contributing to advancements in medical technology, surgical techniques, and pharmaceuticals that could significantly improve the quality of life and longevity for these patients.

We chose to donate the proceeds to The HeartBrothers Foundation because their mission aligns closely with our values. They provide vital resources, advocacy, and support to heart failure patients and their families, making a direct impact on their lives. Our collaboration aims to amplify these efforts, leveraging our collective expertise and networks to benefit more individuals affected by heart failure.
