Welcome to HeartBrothers House at Church Park Apartments in downtown Boston—dedicated lodging for Heart Failure patients and their families through the duration of hospitalization or clinic care.

"Having the HeartBrothers House as a very affordable place to stay was incredible. It gave my husband relief that I was nearby in a safe place. I slept well in a comfortable bed and didn’t have to worry about driving for over an hour after being in the hospital for 9 hours. THANK YOU!"

August 2022

"The HeartBrothers House apartment checked all the boxes! It provided us with a comfortable, safe, and affordable place to stay while seeking care. It was amazing to not worry about the added expense of an overpriced hotel. I just can’t say thank you enough!"

July 2022

"What a blessing. The HeartBrothers House has made such a big difference. It’s been huge. I lived here for several months and don’t know what I would have done without it. I want the HeartBrothers to know how much I really appreciate them."

February 2022

"There have been so many miracles in my life...including the HeartBrothers Foundation. I will always have a special place in my (new) heart for the HeartBrothers House where my family was able to stay before, during, and after my heart transplant at Tufts Medical Center."

December 2020

Launched in 2020, HeartBrothers House is the culmination of a dream born when we were recovering from our own heart transplants years ago—we had witnessed first-hand how challenging it was to cover spouses’ astronomical lodging costs as they traveled back and forth while we received critical care, had LVADs implanted, waited for donor hearts, and recovered from our transplants.

As we told WCVB-5 in this TV interview, Heart Failure doctors, nurses, and social workers have consistently identified short-term housing costs and availability as the greatest gap in care for Heart Failure patients and their families. Since launching the HeartBrothers in 2014, families approaching us for financial support have most frequently cited the soaring costs of hotels and short-term housing near Heart Failure Centers as their biggest non-medical economic burden.

We could not be more elated to invite Heart Failure patients and their families to stay with us at HeartBrothers House today.

HeartBrothers House offers one-bedroom apartments
at just $49 per night for Heart Failure families.
