The HeartBrothers Foundation hosted its semi-annual Corporate Membership meeting on Jan. 12, presenting its successes in 2021 and goals for 2022 and beyond.
During the virtual gathering, HeartBrothers co-founder Pat Sullivan first thanked Corporate Membership Sponsors TransMedics, Cytokinetics, Abbott, Novartis, CareDx, and Medtronic for their support. In 2021, Corporate Sponsor funding grew by 12.5 percent.
Sullivan highlighted HeartBrothers’ many successes over the last year, including:
Record donations (with the money raised from events and donations exceeding corporate grants)

Annual Team HeartBrothers Symposium
COVID presented many challenges in 2021, such as limiting visits with heart failure patients in hospitals and postponing some fundraising events. Still, HeartBrothers saw a 50% increase in revenue.
Looking ahead, Sullivan presented an impressive list of goals, including adding new corporate sponsors, expanding HeartBrothers’ geographic areas of service, growing revenue base, adding new staff, and establishing a HeartBrothers House endowment.
