The Framingham, MA based HeartBrothers Foundation announces an addition to their Board of Advisors.
Duc T. Pham, MD and Surgical Director, Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation at Tufts Medical Center in Boston has joined the team of professional advisors to the HeartBrothers Foundation. He brings years of surgical knowledge in all facets of the areas that the HeartBrothers serves – LVAD, HF and Heart Transplantation.
The HeartBrothers is a newly formed 501c3 non-profit organization formed by two recent heart transplant and LVAD patients and their wives. They assist patients and their loved ones suffering from the rapidly growing problems associated with living with heart failure. They provide all forms of assistance from reimbursement for lodging, travel, food or family support to actually having Team HeartBrothers members visit the homes of the patient or loved ones to ease anxiety or guide them in caregiving.
