HeartBrothers Foundation Spreads Heart Failure Awareness at Patriots Practice at Gillette Stadium

The HeartBrothers Foundation was proud to be at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, August 20, spreading awareness and sharing our mission with Patriots fans!

The New England Patriots welcomed the Philadelphia Eagles for a joint practice and their final preseason practice, with more than 13,000 fans attending. Our HeartBrothers volunteers connected with fans and helped raise awareness about heart failure and the resources available to patients and their loved ones.

Leslie Sullivan (Co-Founder), Jay Toland (Transplant Survivor and Team HeartBrother Liaison), and Brian Calabro (HeartBrothers Board of Advisors) represented HeartBrothers at the event, handing out swag items like HeartBrothers Koozies and talking with fans about the Foundation and the support we provide throughout New England.

The HeartBrothers Foundation is dedicated to bringing critical resources together to support heart failure patients and their loved ones—so no family has to face life with heart failure alone. Through patient assistance, housing, support groups, education, and our Team HeartBrothers, we work to help families navigate the challenges of heart failure.

Many fans gravitated over to the table and came over to inquire about what HeartBrothers does. I came away from this experience feeling that informing people that there are people who care about their recovery and that they are not alone is so important.
